    Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

    Job Purpose

    To operate machines and produce good quality products

    Key Accountabilities

    • Operate a machine in order to produce quality materials
    • Check the quality of products along the production process
    • Observe 5S in order to improve the workplace and avoid errors
    • Manage base materials using the FIFO (first in, first out) method
    • Use machine control panels
    • Enter and locate data on a computer
    • Read and interpret specifications and measuring devices
    • Keep a work log properly
    • Separate defective products; report to the immediate superior if any product or process nonconformity is detected
    • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

    Level of Accountabilities

    To complete tasks that are assigned and to perform the duties required by the job. Be present for proper shifts.

    Core Competencies

    Reading, writing, measuring and mathematics. Also, computer knowledge with touch screen capabilities. 


    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
    • Good command of written and spoken English
    • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
    • Controlling operations of equipment or systems
    • Knowledge of watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working propoerly
    • Use of simple measuring devices
    • Use of simple mathematical calculations
    • While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and to talk and hear.
    • Must be capable of climbing up and down a ladder/stairs several times per shift
    • Must be capable of standing for long periods of time. Mobility throughout the facility.
    • Employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, walk, crouch or crawl.
    • Employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on occassion.
